Description of problem:
Rhythmbox would not play.It cycled through each track and negated them in turn

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.13.3

How reproducible:
It never worked

Steps to Reproduce:
1.I installed Banshee 
2.That cleared the fault in Rhythmbox whihc now works great
3. I am happy now. Everything is working great. I haven't deleted Banshee although I now suspect that installed the required plugin to make Rhythmbox work

how have you installed rhythmbox ? what was the type of media ?

if you can reproduce again, can you launch rythmbox in a terminal to see any errors ?

Rhythmbox was installed with the Mageia version 1. The version of Rhythmbox is 0.13.3.

I can't really reproduce the fault unless I reinstall the whole of Mageia. 
I'll do that if you want but at the moment all is working fine

Setting version to 1, then.

What happens if you remove Banshee? If the bug returns, can you please launch Rhytmbox from a terminal/konsole to copy and paste any error messages you see to this report?

What kind of files did you try to play, mp3's, other?

I am away from my Linux box now until early May. I will uninstall Banshee and let you know.
As I remember MP3s, Audio CDs, and nothing streaming would work although I seem to remember some of the default radio stations worked like Absolute Radio.
I'll get back to you.

Banshee has been uninstalled. I cannot replicate the fault. All types of files seem to play fine for me.
