the dkms-syntek is too old in repo, and it's don't work witch
kernel 3.x. So we must have dkms-syntek 3.0.0 r107 from
http://syntekdriver.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/syntekdriver/tags/3.0.0/.

Please fully update Cauldron and then test whichever of these is appropriate for your system and report back please :-

mtf.no-ip.co.uk/dkms-syntek-3.0.0-1.mga2.i586.rpm
mtf.no-ip.co.uk/syntek-3.0.0-1.mga2.i586.rpm

mtf.no-ip.co.uk/dkms-syntek-3.0.0-1.mga2.x86_64.rpm
mtf.no-ip.co.uk/syntek-3.0.0-1.mga2.x86_64.rpm

I can't test whether the driver actually works, but it's installation on 64 bit Cauldron does not cause any boot issues.

If tests go well I will try to get these new versions into mga2.

Thanks.

ok. i test it, and it working. So dkms-syntek-3.0.0-1.mga2.x86_64.rpm can go to the repo. My 1.3mpx camera on cheese can only take pic in 640x480 and on film it have few fps only, and don't work with skype. But at last it working on mageia :)
