Description of problem: latest update of fglrx-kernel-desktop-latest-8.950-4.mga2.nonfree has caused my Frames Per Second to change from 175 FPS to 30FPS. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. get current proprietary video driver installed, reboot and note FPS with 2. cd /usr/share/mesa-demos/ ; teapot Usually 175+ on my system 2. Do updates which installed new fglx modules, reboot and run step 2 again. now getting ~30 :( I think the last time this happened to me, I ran mcc->Hardware->Set up the graphical server which changes something and my 175+ FPS is back. bug 4968 has become a showstopper for me.
