Description mnaud mnaud 2012-03-21 22:47:48 CET
Description of problem:

booting with the DVD of mageia2 B2 (Mageia-2-beta2-i586-DVD.iso md5:
e77001b7121a64dd6422a6024315b1ae) in rescue mode can't acces RAID1 array due yo unloaded module

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Mageia-2-beta2-i586-DVD.iso md5:e77001b7121a64dd6422a6024315b1ae

How reproducible:

boot on DVD in rescue mode and try to access RAID1 array

Steps to Reproduce:
1.boot on DVD in rescue mode
2.try to access RAID1 array

--> you can't acces your disk since you have loaded manually RAID1 DM module
(modprobe raid1) then re assemble your raid partition manually

i guess all DM modules should be loaded at boot level.
