Description of problem:
The bug described here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=649456
applies to Mageia too. The workaround with NSS_SSL_CBC_RANDOM_IV=0 works.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nss-3.13.3-3.mga2

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create Office Communicator account in Pidgin, leave settings as default (i.e. use TLS)
2. Immediately after login connection is closed with message "read error".

Hi,

Do you have the same issue with pidgin-sipe 1.13.0?
Can you test please, I updated it in Cauldron.

Hi - no, unsetting NSS_SSL_CBC_RANDOM_IV leads to the "read error". Also, I already had built pidgin-sipe 1.13 myself to test, the error is from libnss.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja
