That's for Damien who updated to a newer version Besides one single fix, I haven't touch xguest for years Just not that it can be due to bug #4934

Ok, fix found. The issue comes from gdm, kdm, ... Working on it for gdm and asked kde team for a fix for kdm. Stay tuned.

Fixed on gdm and lxdm. A new kdm will land soon for this issue. lxdm-0.4.1-9.mga2 gdm-3.2.1.1-5.mga2 xdm can't be patch for this issue, so tmpfs won't work with xdm. Please update and test both of them.
I won't have the opportunity now until Monday Damien, would you mind asking on #mageia-qa for testing. Thanks.
Testing on LXDE with lxdm. I do have now tmpfs but I cannot write anything in xguest home

Same thing for LXDE... I can't use a terminal at all, no backgrounds, ... If I replace lxdm with gdm, all is working as expected. For KDE: a new mageia-kde4-config is now available.
I will open a bug report for the LXDM/LXDE + xguest issue. Nothing related to this bug.
