Description of problem: 1) If I put a DVD/CD into the cdrom drive, even when not mounted, I cannot eject it by pressing the physical device button. With udisks, I can eject it with udisks --eject /dev/sr1; but only once. After being closed again, an udisk --eject (and also an eject) does not work anymore and the button does nothing. Of course, the button is working (at boot time for instance). 2) I have 2 DVD devices on my machine. The pb occurs only on /dev/sr1 (see attachment); but if I put the dvd in the second drives /dev/sr0, eject it with the button it works, but this also unlocks the other device /dev/sr1. I can now press the button to eject the drawer. 3) If I put a dvd inside sr1, then we are back to case 1). How reproducible: all the time Dunno is this is udisks pb! Cheers, Chris.
Created attachment 1678 [details] output of udisks --monitor-detail when inserting the DVD into sr1
Hi, thanks for reporting this bug. As the maintainer of this package is not really alive I added the committers in CC. seems not a duplicate of bug 4381 (Please set the status to 'assigned' if you are working on it)

Thanks. For bug 4381, I don't think so, /dev/cdrom points to the correct device, maybe it is conflicting issue with 2 drives?
Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja
