Description of problem: I've just installed Mageia 2 (Cauldron, x86) WindowMaker. After updating, Menu - Applications -> Applications is empty. It was reported in bug 1620 before. Now directory /etc/menu.d/ has only icewm inside so previous fix doesn't work. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: On a single box Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mageia 2 beta1 Custom -> Other Graphical Desktops 2. Update it 3. Check Menu - Applications -> Applications

(In reply to comment #2) > Hi! Is this mga1->mga2 update? > Whan is your language (locales)? Do you use old GNUStep directory?
That wasn't updating. It was fresh Mageia 2 installation. I don't have access to the box I had a problem on. On different one (Mageia 1, x86_64) I have LANG=en_US.utf8 LC_CTYPE="en_US.utf8" LC_NUMERIC="en_US.utf8" LC_TIME="en_US.utf8" LC_COLLATE="en_US.utf8" LC_MONETARY="en_US.utf8" LC_MESSAGES="en_US.utf8" LC_PAPER="en_US.utf8" LC_NAME="en_US.utf8" LC_ADDRESS="en_US.utf8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.utf8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.utf8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.utf8" LC_ALL= Not clear what I need to do about "old GNUStep directory"
(In reply to comment #4) > Not clear what I need to do about "old GNUStep directory" This is the default HOME directory for Window Maker under ~. I will try to reproduce it.
Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

I'm not sure this is the same item. Anyway, installing from dual, configuring online repositories installing windowmaker installing gnome-games No games section in menu. suggested before # /etc/menu.d/WindowMaker returns with a message bash: /etc/menu.d/WindowMaker: No such file or directory
I can reproduce it, our menu has been stopped from working. I will have a look... in september, I am busy in real life.
No comments for ever. Obviously there is no need to keep open. Housekeeping wins.
