Description Frank Griffin 2012-03-01 14:22:02 CET
A discussion on the ML pointed out that a tool developed in the Mandriva days which checked scripts for bashisms should be run automatically on scripts in /etc/profile.d to ensure that scripts with #!/bin/sh don't have dependencies on bash.

Maybe that could be done as an rpmlint check ?

That could, like we do for desktop-file-validate.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja

@all

Please check whether this is still valid for current release media and adjust whiteboard accordingly.

Please note M2 (or 3, 4) will not be changed, only M5+.

If not valid anymore, kindly close the bug report. Thanks.

Well, if nobody did anything about it and didn't post here, the I would guess that the report is still valid.
