This bug report concerns missing KDE4 packages on the install media, dependencies problems in default KDE4 install, optimization and consistency of KDE4 packages available on install media.

CONTEXT
- task-kde4 and kde4's meta-packages (kdeplasma-addons, kdepim4, kdegames4, ...) use a lot of Suggests (for packages that should be part of a default install, but can be remove in some use case, eg. use of phonon-vlc instead of phonon-gstreamer,...),
- The DVD install media doesn't include suggests (because of size constraint).

RESULT
Some important kde4 packages that should be installed by default are not installed, because they are missing on current DVD iso (mga 2 beta 1).

TODO
We (mageia kde team) need to review carefully what should be present on install media (DVD and LiveCD), and optimize the KDE4 install.

In order to see differences between a kde4 install with all available packages and an install from the DVD, I made two installs (default KDE install) on the same laptop;
- one with the mga2 beta 1 x86_64 DVD,
- another with a x86_64 netinstall.

Lists of installed packages for these 2 installs are in attachments.
(they include only package names, so that they can easily be compared with diff tools, like kompare)
