Description of problem: When an attempt is made to unmount and auto-mounted USB drive in pcmanfm Places window the user is prompted for the root password for authorisation. I could not reproduce on a up to date Cauldron. It must have been fixed by an ud* update. Please re-open if the bug is still there for you.

I agree that on a fully updated Beta1 install I am no longer prompted for a root password to unmount the drive. It still causes a core dump so Bug 4640 is still there. Interesting that the USB stick is no longer mounted in /media. I wonder if that was part of the solution or just an unintended side-effect. Hmmm, looks like USB hard drive mount point has moved too. The mount point du jour appears to be /run/media/USERNAME/......
