Description of problem: The summary says it all. The system is a freshly installed (from DVD) MGA2B1 minimal with only LXDE and a browser. All updates have been applied. I put a tail on /var/log/messages and watch as the log fills with various udiskd and halevt messages about mounting and unmounting as I experiment with pcmanfm. The log records; "Process 6864 (pcmanfm) dumped core." or similar when it crashes Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Almost every time you un-mount a drive from the pcmanfm "Places" window. The occasions when it has not happened have been when the file display window is showing contents of a drive which you are NOT un-mounting, but even then is is only sometimes that pcmanfm does not crash. Also it MAY not crash if the Places window is displaying a large number of mounted partitions from an external hard disc. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start with a clean machine with no external drives. 2.Open pcmanfm 2.Insert CD | DVD | floppy | USB stick and watch it appear in the Places window 2.5 If it does not automount then select it in the places window to mount it. 3.Either 4. click to unmount the drive 5.Or 6. Pull out the USB stick | Eject the mounted CD/DVD 7. Watch as pcmanfm crashes
Summary: dumps core on un-mounting CD, DVD, floppy, Internal hard disc partition, external hard disc partition => pcmanfm dumps core on un-mounting CD, DVD, floppy, Internal hard disc partition, external hard disc partition
