While attempting to install beta 1 under VirtualBox, after 5 hours upgrading a Mageeia 1 install to a Mageia 2 beta 1 install, the generation of the bootloader fails due to the arbitrary time limit imposed by line 90 of /usr/lib/libDrakX/run. I understand the need for a timeout. Too long of a timeout makes the system "unfriendly". Too short of a timeout makes the system completely unusable. The timeout should be increased to at least 30 minutes, or easily over-ridable, either with an option during the install, or via a boot parameter.

mageia 2 rc pb still there no updating during installation synthesis.hdlist files are well uploaded and that's all
No. We won't increase timeout. You should use "divider=10" kernel parameter in order to workaround virtualbox slowness (see bug #44)
