Description of problem: When starting a graphical application based on Qt, the computer is quite blocked : the cursor respond with 5s late, the keyboard is worse... There is many disk acces. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qt4-common-4.8.0-2.mga2 (not sure this is the culprit) I was working on qtoctave build, wanted to test the rpm. after some time (several minutes of alt+tab test with 20 or 30sec before X respond) I could change the foreground window to one with a top in it. X was taking 77% of the memory (so I suspect the disk acess to be swapping ). I could not do any other test as I could not have the cursor activ over a terminal. Someone else (Nanar) is having the same kind of problem with other qt applications. I let im explain by himself :)
I have more or less the same issue. After launching konsole or vlc I cannot interact with X11 and nothing appear inside the window of the application. Notice closing vlc is still possible, but killing konsole is only possible from text terminalil (reachable after ctrl+alt+f2 and being patient). Other strange behavior can be observed with other kde/qt applications. In my case top does not reveal any special activities. If it matter, grenoya and me are using XFCE desktop.

It may : * i did not commonly use qt-based software * Nanar had not relaunch X11 server since long so he discovered the problem 1 day before me.
Pushed new xfce4-settings with patch from upstream GIT to hopefully fix this. Please test.
