Description Thierry Vignaud 2012-02-10 15:51:08 CET
.xsession-errors shows the following errors:

xfsettingsd: Unknown option --force.
Type 'xfsettingsd --help' for usage.

I tracked it down to xfce4-session who run "xfsettingsd --force" (whereas it's already started by /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc anyway...)
And indeed:
# xfsettingsd --force
xfsettingsd: Unknown option --force.
Type 'xfsettingsd --help' for usage.
