Description Priscus 2011-03-18 18:31:58 CET
Description of problem:
During network configuration, choosing "Manual configuration" does not work: the system explains "IP address should be in the format 1.2.3.4" even when it is (192.168.x.y address, where x and y are appropriate numbers)
Entering 1.2.3.4 itself does not work either (hey, I had to try!).
An attempt with 8 hexadecimal characters (no dots) failed too.
Choosing DHCP works.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia A DVD, alpha 2

How reproducible:
Each and every time a DVD install is attempted.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Installing a fresh Mageia from DVD
2. Choosing Manual configuration for network
3. entering a valid IP address for the computer.

Reproducible:

This looks related to bug 29, but I am not sure...

Source RPM: (none) => drakx-installer-stage2

It works in Beta2.
Thank you.
