please test new hsqldb rpm
(In reply to comment #4) > please test new hsqldb rpm It really helps if you were to click the [reply] link so we would know who you are talking to. If you are talking to me, it is not going to happen. It took two hours to do the clean ftp install. Current alpha3 DVD.iso will not install on two of three of my machines. Had no problems with alpha1 and 2 installs on all three boxes. Seen other people on usenet groups who have same problem. See bug 4144 With 3 weeks to Beta1.iso, I would recommend/suggest a new DVD.iso to be generated so we can test clean installs. I noticed problems fixed on my ftp install+updates which are not fixed on my alpha3 dvd+updates install on my test machine and my VirtualBox guest. I tried a ftp install with the new boot-nonfree.iso on my test machine and it locked up. :( Guessing several problem reports are caused by junk left by all the cauldron updates. I know several problems cleared up after I did another clean install with updates. It's a shame for maintainers to loose time looking into those kind of problems. :-( I am in my 4'th ftp attempt in a VirtualBox guest since 4 am. FRAP, it's 6:20 and it has completely failed. All testing is coming to a halt at this rate. Mandriva crew had a nightly iso build directory. It greatly improved my testing when I could get a iso and do clean installs. Current alpha3 dvd will hang on two out of three machines on my lan. Those are hard disk install attempts from the same dvd.iso with a valid md5sum check before/after attempts.
confirmed fixed by me after nightly update
