How to uninstall the update and run older version?
Comment 2 Thomas Backlund 2012-01-26 00:51:14 CET
Sorry, when pushing the security update for mplayer:
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4154

the tainted version was missed.

I just pushed it to tainted/updates so it should soon be available.

Hi, TMB!

Tanks for the quickest response around... ;)

But... Can you point me to how unistall updates and run older versions (for testing)?

Thomas as done the update in mga 1
http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/distrib/1/x86_64/media/tainted/updates/

not that you need to take the 'tainted' one.

Does not work out-of-the-box. Enabling 'tainted updates' in media manager (and updating media) still not bring the update (tested with i586 Mageia). Maybe server syncing?
Comment 7 Luzemário Dantas 2012-01-27 01:09:43 CET
Revision r34577.2 was pushed to Cauldron only.
Comment 8 Manuel Hiebel 2012-01-27 15:47:35 CET
You speak about what ?

there was an update in Mga 1 with the rev 1.0-1.rc4.0.r32713.5.3
and it's in core an tainted
Comment 9 Luzemário Dantas 2012-01-27 17:14:58 CET
Tainted version was finally synced within all servers. Is over.
