How to uninstall the update and run older version?
Sorry, when pushing the security update for mplayer: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4154 the tainted version was missed. I just pushed it to tainted/updates so it should soon be available.

Reopened as Mageia 1 also suffer from this bug.

Thomas as done the update in mga 1 http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/distrib/1/x86_64/media/tainted/updates/ not that you need to take the 'tainted' one.

Does not work out-of-the-box. Enabling 'tainted updates' in media manager (and updating media) still not bring the update (tested with i586 Mageia). Maybe server syncing?
Revision r34577.2 was pushed to Cauldron only.
You speak about what ? there was an update in Mga 1 with the rev 1.0-1.rc4.0.r32713.5.3 and it's in core an tainted
Tainted version was finally synced within all servers. Is over.
