Description Richard Walker 2012-01-25 02:17:13 CET
Description of problem:
drakdisk/diskdrake displays available drives on individual tabs. By default the first drive is selected (eg. sda). Other drives may be selected by clicking on the required tab or by using TAB and ARROW KEY presses to select another tab. The screen updates to reflect the selected drive's details.

The gui accessed through the Mageia Control Centre does not respond to mouse clicks, but other drives can be selected using the keyboard method.

When invoked directly from a root console by executing the drakdisk command then it functions just as expected with no loss of response to mouse clicks.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
drakxtools-curses 13.77-1.mga2

How reproducible:
Every time - see above

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start MCC from LXDE panel shortcut
2.Select "Local discs" option
3.Select "Manage disk partitions" option
4.Attempt to click on and activate any of drives 2,3,4,5...n

Are you sure you just didn't see the "please backup first" popup?
Comment 6 Richard Walker 2012-02-05 04:16:36 CET
I tested it in the same way as for the original appearance of this bug in diskdrake 13.77-1.mga2 and with the same results. The problem had been fixed, or perhaps it just decided to hide for a while.
Comment 7 Richard Walker 2012-02-16 21:19:21 CET
OK, tested it again last night and tonight on a fresh ftp install which I completed sometime around 22:30 GMT yesterday.

Last night it was still broken. Tonight it works. I tested it as usual after each update completion.
