Description of problem: The installer hangs at searching packages to install (or sg similar, after checking already installed componenets). On the terminal screen it starts to download the repository lists, after the 6th it hangs Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 1 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download netistall iso (40mb) 2. use whatever mirror you want 3. it will hang before package selection
Thanks for the bug report. Could you provide the file /root/drakx/report.bug.gz as an attachment ? If you don't have the file, you can switch to console 2 (by pressing 'Ctrl-Alt-F2') during installation, put a floppy in floppy drive or plug a USB key/stick and type: 'bug' then press Enter. It will put report.bug on the floppy/key.

If so, please attach that report.bug(.gz) If you don't find time, we'll probably close this report as old two weeks from now (unless someone else can reproduce the bug and provide the missing information)

Tonight I will do it. I am really sorry but I had to give my testing laptop to my sister and only got it back yesterday:)
