At the end of installing phpmyadmin there is a window with no message.
With no message ? you don't have see "64 The actual configuration file is /etc/phpmyadmin/config.php. 65 The config.default.inc.php file contains default values, and is not supposed to 66 be modified." if you go to the file list ? (I guess you are installing with rpmdrake)

Yes I have installed it with rpmdrake. At the end there is the window for information but when I click, it appears a empty window.
Can you try with another rpm like autofs ? to see if it's rpmdrake that is broken and then you could also try with urpmi, thanks
