Description Palm Pre 2012-01-15 15:08:08 CET
Description of problem: I'm using Free DVD for minimal installation. Task-gnome-minimal installation doesn't install number of important packages. The most visible - X. Manual installation leads to messy boot screen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mageia without X
2. Install task-gnome-minimal with default repositories enabled

IIRC you can use apps like nautilus without Xorg, for exemple with ssh et X forwarding, so for me this is not a bug

Olav what do you think ?

Minimal is really minimal anyway. I think it only exists for livecd reasons. I'll ask on mailing list for the policy.
Comment 3 Olav Vitters 2012-03-14 15:44:06 CET
per mailing list, added the suggest in task-gnome-3.3.2-10.mga2
