Description Samuel Verschelde 2012-01-10 17:26:58 CET
I'm using amarok to play songs I have on an owncloud instance, via ampache, but after the first song amarok is unable to play the following songs in the playlist.

According to this thread, this is a bug that was fixed in later versions of amarok :

https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/owncloud/2011-September/000971.html

Would it be possible to backport the fix for Mageia 1?

Well, here the hard thing is to find the revision that fixed the bug to backport it.

Have you tested this feature with latest cauldron version (amarok 2.5beta1) to see if indeed is fixed ? if it is then I'll jump into the source code and try to find that fix :P
Comment 3 Juan Luis Baptiste 2012-01-11 01:21:36 CET
Sorry, we already have amarok 2.5 final in cauldron.

hmm, after testing it's not that better in cauldron, after playing one song, you still have to clear the playlist, make amarok reconnect and then add a new item to the playlist in order to play it :/

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Version: 1 => Cauldron
Resolution: (none) => FIXED

If someone wants to test further I can send an URL to my ampache server + login/passwd by e-mail
