Description of problem: Let's just for the fun of it say that you're new to Linux & you deside to read about it & want to know how it works. This person comes to the part when he/she wants to learn how to find a certain error-text, but doesn't want to browse through large number of texts to find it. My idea is to dump that error-text to one log-file for each program or process. Like this for instance: /usr/var/log/urpmi /usr/var/log/system /usr/var/log/udev etc. etc..... If this person in the future have an error related to mount he/she may go to /usr/var/log/udev & read the issue & nothing more that's not relevant. I see that this may not be possible right now, but I would like to start a discussion about this. Anyone opposed?

More chance anyone sees your mail there, than the bugs mail here

I don't see any concensus forthcoming on this, nor a patch to make it work. Closing this as WONTFIX for now.
