Description of problem: 1. plug in usb printer 2. no popup which tells you that printer is added or that it needs extra packages to be installed. this function works with not up2date mdv2010.1 with same printer.
Have you errors on the file ? /etc/cups/printers.conf /var/log/cups/error_log

it's fixed, also, don't forget to turn on printer when pluggin in :-)
