The respective versions are: 0.80.0-1.mga1 and 0.90.0-2mdv2010.2

This should be updated so that upgrading from MDV 2010.2 works as expected.

yes but this need to be moved in updates with the QA, if we don't do that it's useless

Yes.  Once the package is available in updates_testing and ready to be tested, you assign the bug to the QA team (qa-bugs@ml.mageia.org).  They also need a written advisory that says which packages have been updated, and a reason for the update.  This advisory will eventually be included in the e-mail to the updates-announce mailing list when the update is released.

Sandro, the %release tag on this package needs to be 2 to match Mandriva, otherwise it still will not be upgraded.  Also, please don't forget the advisory.

Testing complete on i586.  As this is a no-arch package, I'll go
ahead and validate the update.

Could someone from the sysadmin team push the srpm
perl-Devel-Platform-Info-0.90.0-2.mga1.src.rpm
from Core Updates Testing to Core Updates.
