Description seilebost seilebost 2012-01-04 22:44:36 CET
Description of problems:

 There is 3 problems :

FIRST PROBLEM : wmaker-themes-0.1-8.mga1

The package wmaker-themes installs the themes into /usr/X11R6/share/WindowMaker/Themes but the script /usr/share/WindowMaker/menu.fr of package (WindowMaker-0.94.0-2.mga2) searchs into /usr/share/WindowMaker/Themes.
Can you package to correct it ?

SECOND PROBLEM : WindowMaker-0.94.0-2.mga2

It seems there is a problem in the file /usr/share/WindowMaker/menu.fr : it uses wmmacros to define the macro THEMES_DIR used by menu.fr. But this macro doesn't run because the menu of window maker doesn't show the different themes. To correct this bug, i have modified the file menu.fr :
I replace this line :
"Thèmes" OPEN_MENU -noext THEMES_DIR $HOME/GNUstep/Library/WindowMaker/Themes WITH setstyle
by :
"Thèmes" OPEN_MENU -noext /usr/share/WindowMaker/Themes/ $HOME/GNUstep/Library/WindowMaker/Themes WITH setstyle
Can you package to correct it ?

LAST PROBLEM : WindowMaker-0.94.0-2.mga2

the files *menu and *menu.fr of WindowMaker-0.94.0-2.mga2 contain a spelling mistake.
The word 'Vérrouiller' is not good. the good word is 'Verrouiller'.
Thanks to correct it.

Best regards.

Hi, thanks for reporting this bug.
In fact one for each issue should be more usefull but well.

Added the package maintainers/commiters.

 OK.
Another question : WindowMaker uses the system menu (/usr/share/WindowMaker/menu.fr) but not the user menu ($HOME/GNUStep/...). Why ?

I have send a patch to correct the spelling mistake to the window maker project.
Perhaps it applies theses modifies (The word 'Vérrouiller' is not good. the good word is 'Verrouiller').

 Best regards.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja

Maintainer is absent for a long time, and it is not sure when he'll return.

However, this bug is from far before Mageia 4 release, so choosing to close it as OLD

Please do reopen if it is still valid in fully updated Mageia 4 or 5 beta 3 or later
