From a cauldron install.log: hylafax-5.5.0-2.mga2.x86_64 /usr/sbin/faxsetup: line 1239: /var/spool/fax/etc/Fontmap.HylaFAX: No such file or directory /bin/grep: /var/spool/fax/etc/Fontmap.HylaFAX: No such file or directory hylafax-client-5.5.0-2.mga2.x86_64 Apparently the faxsetup -client run from hylafax-client %post script fails. (and while we are at it: please remove hylafax from the default Mageia installation: most users don't even have the hardware to send faxes with their computer, and those who do and want to use this feature, should have to know anyway how to set up this thing).

Still valid for Mageia 2. In addition to this, a first install gives this error: Setup program for HylaFAX (tm) 5.5.0. Created for i586-mageia-linux-gnu on Sun Apr 29 17:19:06 UTC 2012. Found encoder: /usr/bin/base64 Sorry, but you must run this script as the super-user! /bin/rm: kan â/tmpâ niet verwijderen: Apparaat of hulpbron is bezig waarschuwing: %post(hylafax-client-1:5.5.0-3.mga2.i586) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 Removing the package and installing it again gives the error as in the original report.
