When F1 is pressed from the mutt index, a blank screen appears instead of the manual, even when the mutt-doc package is installed.

This is because F1 is set (in /etc/Muttrc) to show the file /usr/share/doc/mutt/manual.txt, which is included in the mutt RPM but is zero-length. The manual included in mutt-doc is stored in /usr/share/doc/mutt-doc/manual.txt but is not referenced.

Ideally, pressing F1 when mutt-doc is not installed would show a message suggesting that the user install mutt-doc. If it is installed, pressing F1 would show the manual.

fixed in -4.mga2 (cauldron) and -3.1.mga1 (mageia1). currently building, will need validation (it's in updates_testing) by qa before being moved in updates.

As it is was reported against Mageia 1 it cant be closed before qa has validated it.

I had to manually install mutt-doc, otherwise it just displays a message
about /usr/share/doc/mutt-doc/manual.txt not being found.

Should mutt-doc be added as a suggests?

If not, then testing complete on i586 for the srpm
mutt-1.5.21-3.1.mga1.src.rpm

It displays the manual when f1 is pressed, and the mail program
works.
