Description of problem: I'm running gnome3 on i586 laptop. Most of the time just opening a box opens "unlock" prompt. I started having problem when leaving running box for a night. Opening a box gives you simple black screen without anything on it. Powering it off and back on is the only option to turn it on. Once it didn't even start complying about filesystem errors. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Added the gnome packagers as I don't know what happen (as a workaround, maybe you can only restart xorg)

That's a problem - nothing works.
Your description is a bit difficult to understand. What do you mean with box? Your laptop? Seems what you're saying is that when you suspend it, after a night on suspend, it doesn't resume?
Does gnome3 goes to suspend mode automatically? If yes than yes. I suspend it and sometimes it doesn't resume. It looks like the box doesn't go to sleep mode because it remains warm and noisy (CPU fan ?).
Maybe a driver problem too ? What driver do you use ?

(In reply to comment #8) > I can't install GNOME3. On Fallback mode, there is nothing similar. Maybe I misunderstood this message. Do you mean you installed, but didn't get it to work? That was mentioned by someone in a forum post, but he found a workaround https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1908
