Since Odin isn't made to be open source I found this similar flashing suite-program called Heimdall. As the title describes it's a flashing suite for Samsung Galaxy devices.

It is in cauldron since august.

Of course. I did search, but no entry came up. I guess the bugzilla doesn't present closed bugs in its hits.

It does when you put "ALL" at the beginning of the search string:

ALL heimdall

didn't know this.
