Still valid?
I don't know for sure. The only way to in stall GNOME3 was from Live CD. Fallback from FreeDVD tells gnome-screenshot-3.3.1-1 $ gnome-screenshot ** WARNING **: Unable to use GNOME Shell's builtin screenshot interface, resorting to fallback X11. Error: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.Shell was not provided by any .service files GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_unref: assertion `value->ref_count > 0' failed $
As I can't reproduce this and the OP is not sure if this is still valid, I'm closing this as old. Feel free to reopen if needed.
