Unfortunately, it drops wireless. Switching back to GNOME classic (log out from GNOME3) and there is a connection. Switching to GNOME3 - no connection. My mistake, a connection icon on menu bar isn't green. Running # drakconnect failed but connection works. Oops.

Have you log in /var/log/messages ? I suspect networkmanager.
The file is huge. I had a bunch of todays messages. Network Manager was mentioned a lot of times.
Created attachment 1216 [details] Today's massaged from /var/log/messages
A yes I have forget, I can use tail -f /var/log/messages do see what happend :/
Well, # tail -f /var/log/messages just gives 10 resent messages. I tried hundred # tail /var/log/messages -n 100 but there is no Networkmanager mentioned. See attachement
Created attachment 1218 [details] Output of tail /var/log/messages -n 100
Blino, any ideas ?

@ Palm Is this bug still valid?. If so, what is the output of iwconfig when you're in Gnome 3? There were errors related to wireless in attachment 1216 [details], but afaics the network started in spite of these errors and I didn't manage to see it stop when Gnome 3 started. Anyway, without knowing at what time you had a connection and at what time you didn't, it is hard to find the correct part of the log. So, if it is still valid, can you please look what time it is when having a connection in Gnome 2, switch to Gnome 3, open a terminal, ping mageia.org, wait a few seconds, close it and return to Gnome 2 and observe that you have a connection again, look what time it is and attach the part of /var/log/messages that contains that time frame to this report?

As I mentioned in comment #1 the connection was working but icon in GNOME3 didn't show that. Later it was fixed. I suppose it still works but can't confirm that at the moment.

Thanks, I missed that comment, I'll change the summary accordingly Closing as fixed. Feel free to reopen when needed :)
