XV has:

Categories=X-Mageia-Multimedia-Graphics

This category doesn't exist. Also, the file is invalid since the Categories line should end with ';'.

According to http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/latest/apa.html the correct categories would probably be
Categories=Graphics;2DGraphics;RasterGraphics;Viewer;
