Description Dick Gevers 2011-12-04 17:10:03 CET
Now that the full fledged Mageia wiki is available:

When the current language is $LANG and the Mageia Release is $VER the drakconf menu 'Help --> Errata' should start $BROWSER at the page shown in the above URL, failing existence of a $LANG page set $LANG as 'en' and failing such $VER page set $VER to latest stable release.

IMHO this should be finished before Mageia 2's release.

Until now, there are no localized wikis, only the en one. The idea behind this was, to first straighten out all the peculiarities with the wiki before opening the localized ones.
Also we have to keep in mind, that there won't be a wiki for any language but only those languages we do find people to attend them.

So it would be difficult to maintain something like that.

That's why I wrote that if it's not available, it should default to 'en'.

And the other links in the Help menu does nt point correctly:

---
Help: no action

Release Notes: It points to http://www.mageia.org/fr/ , i am living in France but my system localisation is Greek.

What's new: same as above

Please do not mix several issues in one ticket.
What's more, Release Notes points to https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_2_Release_Notes and Help is another ongoing ticket

Priority: Normal => Low
Severity: minor => enhancement

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja
