Description of problem:

firefox simply uses english instead of italian after the last update

Know bug, mozilla desiable thirdy-part plugin and should be fixed with the update.

As a workaround go in http://about:addons and language

(maybe testing was enabled ? )

Kamil told me he had seen the same bug in polish so reopen.

Please show the value of the following preferences from about:config :

extensions.autoDisableScopes
extensions.shownSelectionUI
general.useragent.locale
intl.locale.matchOS


Is the language pack found in Addons Manager and is it enabled or disabled currently?

Also, looking at the subject of the bug again, Marcello, would you please describe how you "set" language to italian, apart from installing firefox-it language pack?

hi florian, if remember correctely, i usually install just firefox-it package and it works by default in this language. 

i resolved this issue simply going to addons manager and enabling again italian plugin.

anyway, these are my firefox values:

extensions.autoDisableScopes 0 
extensions.shownSelectionUI true
general.useragent.locale en-US
intl.locale.matchOS true.
