My kernel version is:

My lspcidrake output is:

Please install 'glxinfo' package and attach its output.
Also attach the contents of /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the output of 'dmesg'.

Comment 8 Anssi Hannula 2011-12-07 05:05:06 CET
According to the glxinfo, 3d acceleration is working.

However, according to dmesg, there is an MTRR allocation failure which will AFAIK drastically affect performance, which I guess this bug is about:

i915 0000:00:02.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16
i915 0000:00:02.0: setting latency timer to 64
mtrr: no more MTRRs available
[drm] MTRR allocation failed. Graphics performance may suffer.
i915 0000:00:02.0: irq 40 for MSI/MSI-X

Adding the kernel maintainer to CC.

Some ideas about this bug?
Thanks mages.
Comment 11 Filipe Saraiva 2012-02-21 15:15:49 CET
Hi, its a problem in Mageia, or in my installation?
I was using Kubuntu in this same computer, and this error did not exist.

Thank you.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
