Suggested advisory : ==================== OpenCPN plugins have got lots of improvement since their version already present in Mageia9 They have been updated for Cauldron but sailors can't wait for Mageia10 being published since these updates are necessary for their safety as early as this spring time. These two updates concern plugins containing non free binaries necessary to use encrypted paid nautical charts from countries which don't provide them freely ! Updated package in nonfree/updates_testing: ========================================== opencpn-s63-plugin-1.30.9.1-1.mga9 opencpn-o-charts-plugin-2.1.9-1.mga9 From SRPMS : opencpn-s63-plugin-1.30.9.1-1.mga9.src.rpm opencpn-o-charts-plugin-2.1.9-1.mga9.src.rpm # QA to test these updates you need to have previously installed opencpn and updated it if you don't know the use of this program and its plugins you might only verify that the updates is smoothly done Nota Bene you can't fully test these 2 plugins without having bought nautical charts from their providers!!! (I have been maintaining, building locally, testing, and using it for years : these updates have been totally tested before providing them to Mageia9)

Tested https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35208#c2
Plugins install cleanly, and I can select them from the Options menu. But I have no idea how to test those.

Hi Herman You can only test these two plugins with purchased encrypted charts : the nonfree binaries of these two plugins allow to uncrypt those charts with a dungle or with a local key imported inside your computer for this purpose... The only test you can do is to verify that their tab appears in the chart tab of Options
