Installation of Mageia 2 GNOME LiveCD 32bit worked great. After install all updates, virtualbox guest additions were added. GNOME looks great. When I looked at the clock the time is set wrong.. so when I right click on the time at the top of the screen, It shows me the calendar but when I click on Date and Time Settings, nothing loads.. it begins to launch (as it become visible that the software is attmepting to launch it) but nothing ends up showing. If there is anything else you would like to know don't hesitate to ask.

With the KDE LiveCD installed to HD, I always have to set the time, then when I go back to Mageia 1, the time is out there. Haven't yet checked for timezone.

I have now checked for timezone. The package is installed and marked with thev red dot as irremovable. Pehaps what I have is the bug "Timezone needs updating", except that in that report, the timezones themselves were inaccurate. I booted into Mageia 2; the time was wrong, but I didn't change it. When I returned to Mageia 1, the time there was still right.
Doug, it's no the same bug, please reopen and comment this one: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2521 (or another if still open after an search)
