Proceeding, there were no installation issues. I rebooted, just to be sure, and played with things for a while. Logged out of X11 and into Wayland, and played around some more. Everything seems to be working as it did before.
Not a Scribus user, but I do have some experience with other desktop publishers, so I tackled that one next. I downloaded a couple of Scribus templates from the KDE Store, and looked at them with the current Scribus. Then I closed it, and updated, without issues. I loaded the templates, did a bit of editing, closed without saving the changes. Everything looks like it's working as designed.
