Description of problem: Starting about three weeks ago, Viking will no longer download OSM map tiles. This is due to the tiles being downloaded over http: and the OSM servers redirecting them to https: which Viking doesn't handle. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.10 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure a new OSM map layer via Layers→New Map Layer then choosing OpenStreetMap (Mapnik) 2. Deselect the default map layer in the "Layer Name" subwindow, then select the new layer just created (which defaults to the name "Map"). 3. Observe the blank white window where a map should be
The upstream bug report is https://github.com/viking-gps/viking/issues/339 This problem also affects Cauldron. A fixed version for mga9 is available in viking-1.10-2.1.mga9

The problem is fixed in Cauldron in viking-1.10-5.mga10
MGA9-64 server Plasma Wayland on Compaq H000SB. No installation issues. Followed steps above and i see the map from OpenStreetMap (Mapnik) after I got a warning on the license. Works OK.
