Created attachment 15047 [details] vulkaninfo --summary with 570 nvidia driver When trying an application using vulkan, I've got a message saying that vulkan was not detected on my computer. I've tried to use vulkaninfo to see if I could find a hint and got a segfault. nvidia-newfeature 570 also segfault. downgrading to nvidia-current 550.163.01-4 version solved the problem.

Same problem here. I noted it when trying to run chromium-browser or ThinkOrSwim. Both use the chromium libraries. Attaching a core dump trace file for chromium-browser.

I also noted that I could not Ctrl-Alt-F? to a console screen. It showed only a black screen even though the agetty processes were running. Toggling back to the X11 screen worked fine. I've gone back to the 550 drivers and everything is working.

Another report about the Nvidia 570 udate not working (see linked bugs): > downgrading to nvidia-current 550.163.01-4 version solved the problem. > I've gone back to the 550 drivers and everything is working.

There is a new version, 570.172.08-3.mga9.nonfree, in updates-testing which should address latest problems.

This new version works fine. No more crash with vulkaninfo and applications detect vulkan correctly. I've also noticed that "mpv --vo=gpu" was also crashing with the 570.172.08-2 version, and now works fine with this 570.172.08-3 version.
