MGA9-64 server Plasma Wayland on Compaq H000SB.
As I run Wayland, I installed only the applicable packages and rebooted.
And BTW, there  was no earlier version of x11-server installed here.
All looks fine.
As far as the tigervnc is concerned, despite the nice info in https://www.mageialinux-online.org/wiki/print.php?id=259
and further googling around, I never get past:
unable to connect to socket: Connection refused (1111) even when running the client on the same laptop.
and yes ports 5900:5902 opened in firewall.
I wish I knew.....
So leaving the OK dto someone who can test tigervnc

Giving the 32-bit OK on the x11 server. I can't find where we've tested tigervnc on 1586 at all recently, yet the updates have been validated. So...
