Description Michael Slíva 2025-06-01 02:06:33 CEST
After updating x11-driver-video-amdgpu to 23.0.0-5.mga10 today, my system had no graphics after rebooting.

After checking the logs, I found that SDDM is reporting "Failed to read display number from pipe".

Checking the Xorg log, there was an error `(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/drivers/amdgpu_drv.so: /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/drivers/amdgpu_drv.so: undefined symbol: glamor_egl_init_textured_pixmap`.

I had to downgrade to the x11-driver-video-amdgpu-23.0.0-2.mga9 from the stable Mageia 9 core release to restore a working driver.

Hi Michael. Thanks for the report. Please try whether x11-driver-video-amdgpu-23.0.0-6.mga10 fixes the issue.

From the changelog:

joequant <joequant> 23.0.0-6.mga10:
+ Revision: 2188238
- remove -z now which breaks module
