MageiaUpdate downloads 8 packages (by default) and then installs them, then downloads 8 again, installs them, etc... While it's installing already downloaded packages, it holds the downloads of the remaining packages, which is a waste of time, especially when installing large packages such as kernel. I suggest that it keeps downloading remaining packages while installing some of them to spare some time. A running download is not incompatible with the installation of a package, so there is no reason not to do it.
