Fedora offers Autoplus which makes it possible for users to install those nonfree items easily. Maybe something for Mageia as well? http://www.dnmouse.org/autoten/
It seems it isn't really Fedora that offers it, although it is obviously for Fedora users. It looks nice, but I'm afraid it needs a lot of adjustment for Mageia. OTOH, what seems like "a lot" to me, might mean nothing to someone who would really like to package it for our distro :) Setting version to cauldron, because package requests will usually be done for cauldron first. The package is then expected to be available in the first stable release that follows.

It seems the website is dead, and our MageiaWelcome does a nice job of providing an easy way to install the nonfree packages most users need.
