To test you only need to verify that the update from the previous version is correctly done

install first opencpn and its plugins
from core/ and core/updates and from nonfree/ and nonfree/updates

before installing this new version
from core/updates_testing

You don't need to test this plugin itself inside opencpn : it's a little complex for someone not familiar with this sailors program

NB as a collaborator of this program, maintainer of this package, and OpenCPN user
I already tested it before providing this to Mageia

Another fruit of your considerable work in this area, for which many thanks.
Assigning to you to pursue the update, for which you have already done the work.

Again, it would be more appropriate (sure) for you to assign this to QA.

Tested with bug#34196

No installation issues
Run opencpn
Pass First time wizard (I always remove ~/.opencpn after my test
Loads well

MGA9-64 Plasma Wayland on Compaq H000SB
No installation issues.
First time wizard OK, then enable the plugin, and opens ist dialogue. There it stops for me, but in view of all above, OK to go.

Validating from reports above, and that packager is a user himself.
Thank you.
