Since some days we have sddm-0.21.0-1.mga9 in updates testing. Packager said in mail a bug should be opened, and is now on holiday. I have tested it in several systems during a few days, no regression noted.
I'm not sure what put in advisory, some help would be good

Installed on Mageia 9 Plasma x86_64 on two Intel and Amd computers. Maybe I've been using the new version all week, since I installed everything that was in testing. Working well for me, I have not noticed any differences or problems compared to the previous version. Greetings!

MGA9-64 Plasma Wayland on HP-Pavillion No installation issues. Using sddm on this laptop, rebooted and logged in without problems.

mga9, x64 Switched from LightXDM to SDDM then updated sddm package. Reboot and login to Mate worked fine. Noted the addition of 'Plasma Mobile' to the desktop choices - support for pads and phones I guess. No way of testing.

(In reply to katnatek from comment #1) > I'm not sure what put in advisory, some help would be good Perhaps https://github.com/sddm/sddm/releases and https://github.com/sddm/sddm/blob/v0.21.0/ChangeLog Would be of assistance? If you don't have to be that specific, perhaps something like "provides several bugfixes and improved Qt6/Wayland support." would be sufficient. Just a suggestion - You now have far more experience in this area than I.

That help, thank you, I already revised that but is enough information to not be sure what to include

Also note that our previous version is 0.19, so also see changelog 0.20.
