Created attachment 14583 [details] lsusb -vvv output for wifi usb network interface Please attach output files directly to the bug report, as I've done with the lsusb output here. If the output is more than around 100 lines, the text file should be compressed. As a workaround, as root please make sure the package usb_modeswitch is installed, then with the dongle plugged in, run (as root) the command usb_modeswitch, to see if that works to fix the problem.

I'm no expert, but I suspect the driver for it to be the issue.
