Hi, I found that the fix for the bug 33285 did not fully fix all the visual issues: - When switching between virtual desktops in LXDE, for instance, the window of the game was not updated. - Fonts were badly rendered because black is displayed as white, so choosing a level by typing "l" did not display the name of the levels. Best regards, Nico.
Suggested advisory: ======================== The updated package forces updating the window of sdlvexed each time it is necessary and displays the fonts correctly. ======================== Updated package in core/updates_testing: ======================== sdlvexed-0.6-6.2.mga9 from SRPM: sdlvexed-0.6-6.2.mga9.src.rpm

Mageaia 9 x86_64 Lxqt Install current version Can't reproduce the issue switching virtual desktops Update without issues Can't reproduce the issue switching virtual desktops Test bring to focus other window and bring to focus the game window , not regressions But I find that if you press F1 and switch virtual desktops you have to press ESC to reload the window game because the window goes to black Don't know if you like/can fix that
mga9-64 Plasma X11 nvidia-current Works, except I see about the same as katnatek, but it seem to be more simple than so: When help is up, the window is not updated after another window have covered it, or virtual desktops have switched. With some patience it seems F1 sometimes/sometimes do not close help and revitalise the window to work again. Seem to sometime need another key, then F1, after having clicked window frame.

I was able to apply the fix which corrected the main loop also in the code of the "popups" displayed when pressing F1 (about) or l (the list of levels). Updated package in core/updates_testing: ======================== sdlvexed-0.6-6.3.mga9 from SRPM: sdlvexed-0.6-6.3.mga9.src.rpm

mga9-64 Plasma X11 nvidia-current All mentioned problem seems to be solved, as I see it on my system :) One minor thing i saw also when runnign the previous version was that when switching back to the desktop that there were minor problems with *other* applications redraw, such as e.g Thunderbird being an empty window frame with desktop background shining through - but it got redrawn by just letting the mouse pass over it. I blame it on something external to sdlvexed, obscure bug maybe revealed by lack of system resources.
I not get the issue Morgan report in comment#7 This looks good, the advisory is updated
